GTJ Foundation About

About The GTJ Foundation
In 2008, the shareholders of GTJ Consulting, LLC formed the GTJ Foundation, a private non-profit charitable organization. The main focus of the GTJ Foundation is the collection of clothing, non-perishable foods, furniture, medical supplies, children's toys, bicycles and other household items. The GTJ Foundation donates these items to individuals in the community who need help most and has partnered with Saint Jude, The Capuchin Center, and others to make sure the items find a home in need.

Throughout the year, the GTJ Foundation makes monetary donations to special causes both local and national. Families of slain police officers, displaced families, children in need and other groups are the target of these donations. The GTJ Foundation also helps fund specialized programs including Toys for Tots, Cops for Kids, Turning Point, Habitat for Humanity, the Salvation Army, the Make-A-Wish Foundation and more.

The GTJ Foundation has also established two annual college scholarship funds given to high school seniors attending college the following fall:
  • The Henry Titterington Memorial Scholarship
  • The Future Leaders Scholarship
Applicants must meet specific criteria including exemplary academics, community involvement and strong participation in extracurricular activities.

One of the more popular causes facilitated by the GTJ Foundation is the annual bike giveaway. The GTJ Foundation collects bicycles and bicycle parts throughout the year, cleans and/or repairs them and organizes an event where local children who do not have one are given the opportunity to choose their own bicycle.

The GTJ Foundation holds several fund raisers throughout the year including the Annual GTJ Foundation Golf Outing which debuted in 2009.
